I started out on my own as a driving instructor over 6 years ago now. Although i haven’t ever worked for another driving school franchise, at least 50% of my instructors have come from other companies. One thing i thoroughly understand about being a driving instructor is if your not working, your not earning. Verbal agreement, no contracts, no tie ins

We don’t mess about with contracts. For your peace of mind you can walk away anytime, with your existing pupils. You might be thinking “Well, i don’t have any big start up payments, i have nothing to lose going with driveJohnson’s. I could use driveJohnson’s for immediate pupils and then when i’m busy- walk away and start up on my own”. Your welcome to do this, however, our aim is to keep you busy for the long term and hopefully thats your ambition too. Our weekly franchise is very low, so if we help maximize your earnings by keeping you busy, you won’t want to leave us.

1 week notice period

In the event we don’t keep you happy, you cancel your direct debit with us and walk away. Tell us by phone, email, text message, the choice is yours we are very easy going. Even if you have a contract hire car through us, you can walk away with the car and return the car to the company we use once the remaining months left on the contract hire has finished. We don’t make a penny on the contract hire, the agreement is between you and the company we have negotiated with to give you the lowest possible contract hire agreement.

Nobody has left us to date

We are trying to build up our instructor base gradually, the most important thing to us is that we don’t upset our existing instructors. So we will only take on a new instructor when the existing are fully and regularly booked. Once it gets to stage where we have more pupils than instructors, thats when this flyer goes out to specific areas. We are very proud of our reputation of keeping 100% of our instructors so far and we don’t want to lose that.

Use your own vehicle or contract hire available

As long as your vehicle is suitable for teaching learners in and looks the part, that good with us. However, if you don’t have a vehicle straight away, then we can help you with a contract hire car. The company we use can supply you with brand new dual controlled hatchback of your choice. Our cheapest car’s available are the peugeot 107 at £51 a week and the 207 at £58. At driveJohnson’s we also provide you with your roof sign, business cards, lesson planners, t-shirts, fleeces and more free of charge. We offer two types of franchise

: Part time. £50 a week: If you want to be working around 25 hours a week or less, then this is for you. Full time. £70 a week: If you want to work 30 hours or more a week, then this is for you. We don’t want to keep track of how many hours you are doing a week. If you want to work 40, 50 or 60 hours a week, then we are happy to support you with the new pupils. We do not charge a fee for each pupil.
